Once A Coug, Always a Coug!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to join the panel, ‘Entrepreneurship: Steer Your Startup to Success’, at the 45th Murrow Symposium. This is one of my favorite events because it brings back so many good memories! I was 14-years-old when I decided I wanted to attend Washington State University. When I received my acceptance letter, it was one of the happiest days of my life. It wasn’t just the years of hard work; it was knowing I had the opportunity to improve my life through education.

Earning my degree has given me a foundation for my professional and personal endeavors. It has broadened my worldview and made what seemed impossible, possible. I always like to tell people my degree is the ‘gift that keeps giving.’ And it truly is. I aspire to be a life long learner and I feel this is something I’ve achieved.
