Clever Jam Communications is a consulting firm offering motivational speaking, facilitation, and strategic communications guidance. It was founded by national award-winning keynote speaker Jamerika Haynes-Lewis.

A native of Tacoma, Washington, Jamerika has more than seventeen years of experience in multimedia journalism and non-profit communications. While growing up in foster care, Jamerika was determined to have a different life than the one she experienced. She put herself through college earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Washington State University.

Her achievements include speaking at over 50 events, writing over 100 news stories, and being the recipient of the “Using My Voice for Change” award from Voice for National Adoption. Apart from being a communications professional, Jamerika has worked as a commercial actress and model. She is the former USA Ambassador Ms. 2021. Her platform is ‘A Chance to Succeed: Empowering Youth in Foster Care.’

Using her diverse skills set, Jamerika has become a premier motivational speaker. She strives to share a message of hope, especially for those who have felt alone, unknown, and forgotten.

A life-long advocate for foster children, she has spoken at community events, foster parent trainings, and conferences across the nation. Her notable keynote engagements include the New York Office of Children & Family Services, Washington DCYF ‘Vision to Action’ Supervisor’s Conference, Montana Prevent Child Abuse & Neglect Conference, and Michigan Statewide Conference for Child Abuse and Neglect.
